Released on October 15, Easy on Me broke records in the UK for most streams in a week, with over 24 million. Her last album ‘25’ went platinum in just 24 hours, becoming the fastest selling album of all time, and the singer is expected to make a fortune with the release of 30.
The new album will see the Chasing Pavements singer address her divorce from Konecki, whom she was married to from 2018 and shares son, Angelo, born in 2012. Though the divorce was kept mostly private, it was widely speculated that Adele and Konecki had not signed a pre-nup agreement, which posed a threat to the singer’s strong fortune.
According to The Sun, the divorce amounted to £140 million, though the former couple remain on good terms with the singer purchasing a $10 million LA pad close to her ex-husband. Adele began working on 30 at the start of 2019, the same year she announced her split from Simon Konecki after more than seven years together.
