Also getting charged $14.95 a month without my permission. Outright dishonest. To all potential shoppers - if you select free shipping for an order, you are automatically enrolled in the Perks program at $14.95 a month after 30 days, whether you agree to it or not, and they keep charging you until you have to take your time to call and demand that they stop. They do stop it; they halted it immediately on my demand. But the point is that it is unethical of them to do this without telling customers they are doing it.

Somehow, I signed up for Carol Wrights Perks at 14.95 per month. I don't want that, so call 8887408170 to cancel. I did and they cancelled right away, but unfortunately I have to keep that first charge. Here is their info online.The first 30 days of the Perks program is FREE with a Carol Wright Gifts purchase and the monthly subscription charge after the trial period is $14.95. Unfortunately, this program is currently not available in AK, IA, ME, and OR.

The same exact terrible thing happened to me and countless other customers of Carol Wright!
I had bought a nice winter robe from Carol Wright Gifts and in June I bought only one top for about $13, I never was told or asked about signing up for any membership for any fee, but my father just called me and told me that I was being charged $14.a95 a month for a membership that I never even knew about and never signed up for! I see there are other complaints from customers of Carol Wright Gifts that said they did the same thing to them, and I will never give them any of my business again and they really should be out of business for scamming and ripping people off like this!
I called and spoke to a Carol Wright customer service agent today who told me that when I bought my top I was automatically enrolled in this $14.95 a month plan, and I kept telling her that I never even knew about it and I didn't enroll in it at all! She claimed after my father called and asked for this to be canceled and to get a refund, (will see what happens) that they are giving me a refund and canceled my membership fee that I never of course even signed up for or even knew about.

am reporting a fraud charge of 14.95. I never signed up for anything under DRL Carol Wright Gifts. I want cancelled immediately and want all money back since October 2020, Never become a member , this company is fraud export just see the reviews. when I call them for refund they agree to pay then put me on hold for more than 30 minutes " to get approval of refund from supervisor then hang up on me"that was repeated twice, no refund made

i have been getting charged $14.95 on my credit card statement; this last time, I was charged twice; the previous month once. I never ordered from Carol Wright, no do I intend to do so.

Somehow I was etting charged 24.99 two sometimesore per month for supposed membership fee. Spent hundreds before figuring this out. What a scam, don't know how I got opted into this and being 80 some years old seems just down right scandalous for this company.

I didn't realize I was authorizing a recurring charge either- but in absolute fairness - when I did realize I was being charged.... and called.....THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE REP ON THE PLANET helped out and completely pleasantly resolved the problem.

I just realized yesterday that I have been charged $19.99 per month from Carol Wright since December 2021. February 4th made the 3rd charge. I called and had it stopped and asked for February to be refunded. The girl was nice but I asked what the charge was for. I never signed up for anything to be charged on my card monthly. She said it was like to protect my card from fraud. I said well this is FRAUD. I was discouraged.
