In America the film had 9 minutes removed, the title was changed to PLAYGIRL AFTER DARK and it was decided the film to avoid censorship problems would be released in black and white and not color. By now you know the Global Psychotronic Film Society is not playing that game, we have the original color version of the film

When I first saw Francoise Hardy I had never seen a female singer as cool as her. I was mesmerized. She even started a music movement! She inspired me, though I never met her. She wrote her own songs when female pop stars didn't. She inspired girls around the world, fashion designers and even Bob Dylan and Mick Jagger. There is a little less magic in the world.
